| Description | In the paper the author points out various interpretations of the term motif in the theory of literature (e.g. Tomashevsky, Propp, Frenzel, Všetička). She deals with the motifs of four elements in Dostoyevsky's work Diary of a Writer, in this context she tries to answer the question which place the motifs of elements have in Diary of a Writer in relation to other works by Dostoyevsky. |
