| Description | The article tries to answer the question of stereotypes in the conduct of the main characters in the story. Nina, the main character, is in a position "between": "between men", "between a girl and a lady", "between an ideal and a physical love". Her conduct changes - from an inexperienced girl to a depraved wife who cheats on her husband while she blames her former lover for being the guilty party for her becoming a lady of easy virtues. |
