| Description | Souvenirs and mementos of places visited have always been an inherent part of returns from journeys, no matter how long. Most often, they took form of pictorial documents or products typical of the site. When travelling and stays in spa resort/summer residences became part of the lifestyle of the urban middle class in the second half of the 19th centrury, small folk-style souvenirs started to gain popularity. |
