| Description | The novel Eva by the Cape Verdean author Germano Almeida is one of the few works of the author whose story does not take place only in the Cape Verdean archipelago. Therefore, it is possible to observe in this novel immigration, which is one of the traits of the Cape Verdean identity, from a different point of view. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the difference between the image of an immigrant in the novels whose story is set in Cape Verde, and in those that take place outside the islands, the question of identity and the relationship between me (the Cape Verdean) and the other (the foreigner). |
