| Description | This monograph is intended for healthcare professionals who are involved in perioperative care of surgical vascular patients. The first part describes most common vascular diseases treated with vascular procedures using prosthetic grafts and basic principles of their management. The second part deals with anxiety and fear issues, psychical response to surgery and interventions to reduce anxiety and fear. The third part focuses on the theory of patients' education, creation, and evaluation of educational material. This part discusses the results of a research grant project and includes examples of created educational material. |
