| Description | In the first part of the workshop, we will look at the latest trends in online testing and student assessment. We will introduce basic testing principles, compare various test formats - both from teachers' and students' perspectives - and will try to break the general perception from that of testing being a necessary evil to that of understanding the benefits of using testing in teaching practices. In the second part of the workshop, we will focus on online testing in ELF, we will go through different question types in the updated version of the system, and will outline available methods of assessing quality of online tests. |
