| Description | The 90th anniversary of Polish studies in the Czech Republic is a jubilee that has already become very inspiring. In 2013, two international conferences were organized with the support of the Polish-Czech Forum at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Czech Republic. The article aims at presenting the results of an interdisciplinary project entitled Polish studies in the Czech Republic in the European context (I–II). Prominent Polish language and culture researchers, historians, lawyers and political scientists from the Czech Republic and all over Europe were involved in the project. The position of Polish studies in the Czech Republic (with the main centres in Prague, Brno, Olomouc and Ostrava) is also discussed in the article. |
