Description | How much German does one actually need in real life in non-German-speaking countries? When does have to be the motivation to learn / study German encouraged? For this purpose took place a project week entitled "Vocational Orientation Week: Linguistic Places" in the spring of 2018 in a high school near Brno, which received financial support from the Czech Republic-Austria Action. The aim of this project week was to provide students Geraman as Foreign language in the two countries a practice-oriented, internationally supported opportunity for cooperation, as well as to deliver future teachers a direct experience with the applicability of the German language. In our article we will present the results of this collaboration between two universities and one high school. Introducing the concept in the scientific discourse of domaine oriented didactics, we examine the impact on the learning motivation of the young people involved in the project and the contribution to the school profile development. Finally, we discuss possible gains for the German teacher education in the university area. |
