Description | The monograph, published in English, is focused on the prospects of future development of the European Union and of European law taking into amount the already declared reform of the Union and in reflection of the concrete political scenarios. Thematically the book is dealing with analysis of the changes in the main fields of the Constitutional and substantive law of the EU, which are relevant from the point of view of the envisaged reform of the Union. Especially the text does the analysis of the deep motifications of the EU institutions (for instance the merger of the European Parliament and the Council into a single legislative body and other institutional changes (the efectivity of European legal instruments for strenghten the rule of law (including the novelisation of Art. 7 TEU), future development of the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (including the migration issues), the destiny of Europe, etc. The essential part of the monograpf is dedicated to the critical evoluation of the actually discussed political and legal proposals and the approaches to them from the side of the Member States. |
