| Description | The chapter first describes the ethical aspects of scientific and research activities and shows the tendency to commodify scientific activity. Scientific activity takes on a market character and the pressure on its outcomes leads to ethical offenses. The response is the effort to promote ethics in scientific work by issuing of codes of ethics in scientific institutions and by strengthening the control of adherence to the ethics of scientific work. The chapter emphasizes the importance of education in the ethics of scientific work. |
