| Description | Orthopterans (Orthoptera) are an indicative and important group of insects from the protectionist’s point of view with poorly known distribution of particular species. During the period of 2012-2015, an extensive mapping of Orthopteran distribution was carried out on the territory of the five selected regions covering 46% of the area of the Czech Republic. The paper describes the results of a mapping that has yielded in data on the distribution of 54 species of Orthopterans (83% of the taxa recently known to be occurred inside the mapped area). |
