• Description: The study deals with the analysis and evaluation of tourism development in the Czech Republic since 2012. It provides information on the main factors of the external environment that affect the conditions of tourism development. The synthesis of these trends is PESTLE analysis. Furthermore, the study deals with the importance of tourism for the national economy, the growth of tourism demand, the state of tourism supply and the analysis of the system and management and coordination of tourism. All are concluded by identifying the competition of the destination of the Czech Republic. The study also evaluates cooperation with the leading players in Czech tourism through a questionnaire survey and outputs from the workshop. The study was created in collaboration of three subjects: University of Economics, Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague and Masaryk University (project coordinator).
