| Description | The author of the article aims to identify the evaluative aspects of the Unity, which form an integral part of the heritage of Russian literary criticism of the late XIX century. The analysis of the articles of art criticism by Vladimir Solovyov allows revealing the specifics of the ideological and material synthesis of cultural and historical processes affecting the Russian society at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the20th centuries. The contemporary development of literary criticism in leading journals predetermined the search for the values on which social life rests. The system of ideological views, revealed under the prism of the idea of Good, Truth and Beauty, opens up to the reader in the form of an ideal depiction of the spiritual essence of being and adherence to the aesthetic norms of literary creativity. |
