Description | Theatre speech consists most prominently of dialogues between three or more characters-actors. This dramatic mechanism has been invented by Ancient Greeks whose culture featured dialogue as a prominent mode of communication from court trials and political assemblies to reception of literature, which is the case, most famously, of Platonic dialogues. The lecture explored the possible reasons why dialog has been such a persistent medium of communication throughout ages. |
