Description | The topic of the paper is distribution of liability in an interconnected complex system. As an example, a cooperative road traffic system is chosen – a fleet of autonomous (self-driving) vehicles that communicate with each other, the infrastructure and the surrounding environment. As all the vehicles cooperate in calculating the trajectory while sharing data, it is problematic to designate the unit responsible for an error, if it occurs. Available legal concepts are summarized and evaluated, based on their suitability for different technical solutions of multi-agent decentralized systems. |
