| Description | In the Czech Republic, as in most other European countries, German is being taught as second foreign language. This fact can negatively influence the motivation of students and thereby the whole process of learning German. Taking into consideration that motivation is linked closely to learning achievement, it is desirable to support the motivation of students, whereby it is assumed that the German teacher is the one who has a great influence on the learning motivation of the student. This contribution describes a survey which has been carried out about the subject of motivating students to learn German through a German teacher and some selected results of different areas of motivating will be presented and discussed. |
