| Description | The author of the treatise demonstrates and analyzes the development of the independent discipline Slovak language and literature I established at Masaryk University, Brno, in 1997, mentions the significant founding personalities, the problems associated with teaching and research, the Slovaks who delivered lectures here and, above all, the tradition of the Czech-Slovak conferences. He accentuates the plurality of views at conferences the participants of which come in the culimination of interest from 8-9 countries, and especially their thematic range. The publication output has been represented by the Brno Texts in Slovak studiies (now more than 20 volumes). |
