| Description | Education is currently considered as important and valued attribute for every person. Each one of us is educated in a certain way during the whole life. However, the basic elements of education are set out in the education process at primary schools and further developed in the secondary schools environment. As part of this formal education, pupils' competences are currently developing in very relevant areas as well. This also includes financial education. In the Czech Republic, there have been national strategy and the system for developing of financial education as well as the financial literacy standards created several years ago. Implementation of those documents into the Framework Education Programs and following transformation to the School Education Programs for primary and secondary schools influencing the realization of practical side of teaching is facing different kinds of pitfalls. The following text deals with the issue of financial education at primary and secondary schools based on the analysis of publicly available data. The analysis is focus on content of financial education in the context of developing of financial literacy according to educational documents of different standard levels with the stress to available educational documents from chosen primary and secondary schools. |
