Description The first part of the article describes the effective legal arrangement for the provision of specific food for accused persons in custody and, at the same time, points out the differences with the contract for the provision of this food to persons sentenced to imprisonment. The second part of the text deals with the case of the accused, who was prosecuted in custody while the prison did not comply with his request to provide a vegan diet. The accused appealed to the court, which accepted the claim in October 2018. The decision above was subsequently changed in April 2019 by the Court of Appeal by dismissing the lawsuit. The final part of the article contains critical observations on the conclusion of the Court of Appeal.
