| Description | The ranks of the listed words and their variations from the 1950s to the present are part of this paper. We are focusing on the comparison of the series of Czech language textbooks for the primary school: we notice their different presentation in textbooks of individual publishers or individual school years, the difference in the number and their timeliness. Attention is also paid to their place in the teaching of Czech language among pupils with a different mother language. Part of the paper consist of the interpretation of the results of a probe made in a group of intermediate and more advanced students, which revealed the uncertainty of using the less frequent listed words. The survey confirms the need to pay attention to this topic in the teaching of Czech for all groups of pupils, both with Czech as a mother language and with Czech as a second / foreign language. |
