Description | The empirical essay focuses on cooperation between OSPOD and primary school and aims to answer the main research question “How do primary school teachers and OSPOD staff perceive mutual cooperation?” This perception is viewed through the prototypes and stereotypes of the participants. The research was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 4 primary school teachers and 5 OSPOD social workers. It has been shown that teachers are groping in fulfilling the educational role of children with social problems, which is reflected in the fact that they often do not establish cooperation with OSPOD and do not know its role in solving the difficult situation of the child. OSPOD workers perceived cooperation as satisfactory and stressed the lack of prestige of their profession over teachers. It showed that representatives of both professions would welcome deepening cooperation, which supports the idea of establishing school social work in the Czech environment. |
