| Description | The paper presents some of the challenges of literary translation, related, above all, to the translation of different sorts of realia. It is well known that the translator of literary texts has to face all kinds of challenges, of which a special mention deserves the translation of non-existent cultural elements in the culture of the target language to which it must be translated. Based on specific examples, the most relevant aspects that make up the approach will be outlined by types of different translation strategies that the translator can use. |
