Description | The presented monograph represents a net of texts going from the conception of Russian literature in the works of the two founders of Slavonic studies through Karamnzin’s formation of the new Russian literature, to the participation of „foreigners“ in the formation of Russian literature to the classical and modern belles lettres which concerns both the most significant authors, such as Alexander Griboyedov, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Maxim Gorky or nearly forgotten Nikolay Leskov, and the Czech views of more recent literature of the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century (Valentin Rasputin, Evgeny Vodolazkin) or the activities of eastern Slavs in interwar Czechoslovakia (Alfred Bem, Valery Vilinsky, son of the professor of Masaryk University Sergiy Vilinsky). |
