Description | Tereza Říčanová (1974) illustrates books for children, complements them with her own, often handwritten texts. She paints flowers and dreams on glass, creates so-called underpaintings on glass, where the colors in the foreground must always be applied first, then further layered. She masters graphic techniques, prints fires, mountains, horror fairy tales or a cow's bum on a satin maker, and has letterpress at home. In her library you will find countless diaries, she fills them with, among other things, revelations, her dreams, which she immortalizes with text and drawing She is an actor in her own children's theater made of boxes. She dances cow theater. She teaches in kindergarten, primary school and high school. She encourages children to unlimited spontaneity, students to honest craftsmanship. She lives with her husband and children on a small farm near Pelhřimov, raking hay, growing vegetables, chopping wood, and throwing manure. She had a cow and made cheese from milk. All this is part of Tereza Říčanová's work, it is a living and alive work! In the cross-sectional exhibition of this artist, you will see her diverse creative repertoire and perhaps even capture the natural creative energy from her paintings. |
