| Description | A concert by the vocal quintet ČeVoK was organized as part of the 26th Lomnické kulturní léto music and drama festival 2020. The program was divided into two parts, the first of which was devoted to Czech and foreign repertoire in the field of jazz, folk and classical music, mainly in original adaptations by members of the quintet. The second part of the concert was composed of works by the composer Jaroslav Ježek, to whom the concert was dedicated. It was mainly sung a cappella, but also in polyphonic arrangements with an accompaniment of piano, trumpet and percussions. The concert program was supplemented by arrangements of folk tunes and songs, the authorship of which belongs to Magdalena Švecová and Jaroslav Krček. The author of the result is a member of the vocal quintet as a bassist and he also owns the authorship of some arrangements. |
