Description | The present text offers a possible perspective on how to deal with the situation where an artist who was unable to perform his work due to government measures taken in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic entered into another basic employment relationship. As a result of this fact, the employee in question now learns, essentially from one day to the next, that the performance of his original work is no longer restricted and is therefore called back to work by his original employer. However, his second employer also naturally and in full compliance with the relevant legal standards requires the continued presence of the employee at his previous (current) place of work. The employee suddenly finds himself in a difficult situation for which neither he nor any of the employers present is to blame. They were all just trying to survive (economically) in this unpredictable time. |
