| Description | In my lecture I present the preliminary results of my PhD research in development entitled "Felix Timmermans in Czech. 75 years of reception history". My goal is to compile an overarching reception history of Timmermans in the Czech Republic and to explain the relatively large attention paid to his work. My attention is mainly focused on the role of cultural mediators, such as literary groups, translators and publishers. |
