Description Quest for adequate interventions in Romany children and adolescents social work needs deeply assessment of their living situation. The study is based on qualitative research of Romany socially excluded families from Brno, Ostrava and Romany villages from Eastern Slovakia. The essay is devoted to the question: „In what way are ensured parent´s functions in Romany social excluded families and what consequences it has for potentional risk bahaviour of Romany youth?“ To address this topic is discussed parenting capacity, which includes basic care, ensuring safety, emotional warmth, stimulation, manner of nurture, boundaries and stability.
