| Description | In the context of advancing global warming, the issue of water scarcity in Africa is becoming more and more prevalent, especially in the context of national conflicts. However, the construction and filling of the GERD dam in Ethiopia shows that the dispute over this source could escalate into an international conflict with far-reaching geopolitical consequences. Ethiopia, Egypt and Sudan are trying to gain the greatest possible access to the water of the Nile, but each of the actor from different reason. |
