Description | The Guidelines provide a standardized procedure for assessing the environmental literacy of secondary school students. Its intended users are national and regional designers and coordinators of environmental education, and then researchers and scholars focused on this field. Notably, it maybe used for national or regional environmental literacy surveys, then for designing specific research studies, or for evaluation of specific types of environmental education programs. The standardized procedure allows comparison of results of students of different ages, and evaluating the effectiveness of public support of environmental education. The findings of representative surveys of environmental literacy of students of the 6th, 8th, and 9th grades conducted in the academic year 2019/20 are part of the Guidelines. |
