Description | Natalie Perkof's exhibition presented a tightly visualization of spirituality in the contemporary world in one of the "dungeons" on the Prague waterfront. The installation was inspired by alternative spiritual movements based on a holistic idea of the world in which everything living and non-living is part of one interconnected universe and the figure of the shaman is the mediating element between the different levels of the world. Perkof has created a specific, meditative space in which the colour and light relationships between individual images and objects develop as lines of intangible forces and energies. The complex installation also included a soundtrack by musician Dan Hasalík, which was created by transforming sounds and noises captured directly in the environment of the embankment. |
