Description | The presentation deals with the topic of application of business ethics by the suppliers of digital content and digital services on modern digital market. The author describes the concept of digital revolution and changes on the market in the past two decades, whilst outlining what supply of digital content actually means, within the legislative framework that is relevant to the suppliers. Author then analyzes the applicability of business ethics in supplying digital content and services, with focus on its’ profitability and relationship with law. The Author has concluded that the application of business ethics in contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services remains a viable business strategy for the suppliers. While the legal regulation of digital market is lacking and therefore, it’s easy to behave unethically there, the specifics of the digital market require any supplier to maintain a good reputation, as the easy accessibility of information makes it near-impossible to reduce infamy. Therefore, good business ethics are the only way to stay profitable on the market long-term. |
