Description | The monograph responds to the most important feature of current reproductive behavior in the Czech Republic, to the proven demographic trend of the shift in fertility of older mothers. This phenomenon is associated with possible risks of a bio-psycho-social nature for parents, children and society as a whole. In an innovative way, the publication brings a comprehensive, current and scientifically relevant portfolio of theoretical background conceived in a holistic approach to timely, respectively. delayed / late pregnancy / maternity / parenthood. The authors define five key thematic areas: Selected demographic indicators as an indicator of a possible change in the approach to education for sexual reproductive health education; Pregnancy, motherhood and parenthood planning in context; Medical aspects of postponing parenthood, including assisted reproduction, gamete donation, and surrogacy; Psychosocial aspects of postponing parenthood and Selected social, cultural and religious aspects of assisted reproduction from the perspective of an anthropologist. |
