| Description | Our contribution focuses on the nature of a voluntary associations, specifically on the issue whether membership in an association can have a monetary value and whether transferability of membership should be allowed, and the problems, which arise when the transfer of association membership is permitted. We propose that it is possible to subject transferable membership in an association with a monetary dimension to rules concerning cooperatives, which can be applied by analogy. |
