| Description | In the recent years, the number of Czech university students leaving for international stays during their studies is constantly decreasing. In the aim to discover the causes of such a trend and to ensure an adequate preparation for mobility, in 2019 we began a research the results of which would enable to motivate the students more for the mobility. The results of analysis of semi-direct interviews with students on mobility between 2019 and 2020 show both the necessity of intercultural communication competence development during lessons of foreign languages, of the support of internationalization in the institutions. In our contribution, we suggest a reflection of the research results and its possible didactic implications for intercultural preparation for mobility, building of awareness of one’s own culture and the culture of the other and prevention of negative impact of adaptation to different cultural environment. |
