| Description | The possibility of using foundations to manage family property brings with it the need to focus attention on the position of the beneficiaries of these structures in the Czech legal environment. At the same time, it seems appropriate to reconsider some stereotypical views on the definition of their hitherto rather passive position. The beneficiary should not be in the position of a subordinate "supplicant" or a carefree "annuitant", but a person who has a vested interest in the proper functioning of the structure created by the founder for the administration of (family) property. Experience from neighbouring countries shows that a clear definition of the position of the beneficiary (and his rights) can bring the desired sustainability and stability. |
