Description | The COVID-19 pandemic significantly affected the life situation of students around the world. In this text, we return to the beginnings of a pandemic in the Czech Republic in spring 2020 and provide two examples from research analyzing the thinking of university students in social work in connection with the sudden and unexpected interruption of contact education. Research was implemented through a qualitative research strategy; the technique of data collection became the content analysis of seminar papers, which in that period selected students of one of the Czech public universities wrote in a course focused on their professional practice and supervision of these practices. These seminar papers were not originally intended to serve as research material, but their reading stimulated scientific interest in the author, who is also a teacher of the course, as students presented interesting and inspiring attitudes related to the period. |
