Description | The whole day online workshop was organized as part of the specific research project "Specifics of work engagement in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic". The morning part was intended for students of the Department of Psychology. The aim was to introduce students to the construct of work engagement and present them to specific research experiences - planning and implementation of research in practice, ethical aspects, interviewing respondents, introducing the roles of individual members of the research team, and the benefits of being involved in research. Members of the research team participating in the partial outputs of the project and conducting interviews were actively involved in this part. The afternoon part was intended for primary school teachers with whom interviews were conducted. Among the presenters were also a school psychologist and a regional prevention methodologist. The topics of the afternoon part were chosen concerning the teaching profession - protective factors of burnout syndrome, teacher-student-parent communication, teacher engagement, and its manifestations, research findings based on interviews. Both parts had a common goal - sharing experiences and connecting theory and practice. |
