Description | The realised qualitative research, which falls under the international Erasmus + project, To be or not to be well? - Drama and theatre in education (further simply as To Be) uses drama and theatre methods in education for the development of wellbeing of pupils and teachers in schools. The research functions as a probe into how selected teachers and school management workers understand wellbeing. The research subjects from three different primary schools have attended a seminar on Drama in Education in the The Lužánky Leisure Time Activity Centre as part of the aforementioned project. Through the use of the IPA (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis) method, we have analysed fourteen semi-structured interviews with six research informants to answer these questions: How do primary school teachers and management workers who took part in the To Be project reflect on the well-being in their schools? According to the primary school teachers and management workers who took part in the To Be project, how can Drama in Education aid in the development of the well-being of teachers and pupils? |
