| Description | This article deals with several impacts of amendment of criminal statutes by law no. 333/2020 Coll. This law, effective since 1. 10. 2020, has significantly intervened in both substantial and procedural fields of criminal law. The authors focus mainly on the changes of Code of Criminal Procedure (indictment response, extension of plea bargain applicability and also indisputable facts as well as new legal institute of guilty plea). This article introduces selected changes including declared reasons for the necessity of their adoption, identifies law-in-action problems, which they might bring, and offers reasoned solutions thereof. |
