Description | The article is dedicated to amendments of legal regulation of attendance allowance and long-term attendance allowance entered into force 1 January 2022 as a result of amendment of Sickness Insurance Act (act no. 187/2006 Coll, as amended). I aims, in particular, at withdrawal from the condition of the same household for the purpose of the right to attendance allowance for stated family members. Moreover, it pays attention to the condition of hospitalisation of the cared-for persons for the purpose of the right to long-term attendance allowance. The aim of these amendments is to promote the reconciliation of family life and professional life of employees. Particular attention is paid to current regulation of so called extraordinary attendance allowance in relation to epidemy caused by COVID-19. Amendments of labour law regulation are taken into consideration as well. The article deals with important personal obstacles to work at the employee’s side, protection of employees against dismissal nad the right to annual paid leave. |
