| Description | The book analyses the key concepts, including dementia, the ageing process, old age and the personality of the elderly and their current position in society. The team of authors focuses on the influence of medical, psychological, sociological, educational and occupational therapy factors on the course of ageing, care and quality of life. Emphasis is placed on the elaboration of approaches to support and develop cognitive functions of the elderly and the use of alternative elements in therapy and rehabilitation. The text is complemented by the results of several research studies in which the authors of the publication have participated. The research presented highlights the relevance and importance of the topic and allows us to see the interdisciplinary practice focused on cognitive rehabilitation of geriatric clients. |
