| Description | This text presents the results of an analysis of the supply of further education in 2019 in the Czech Republic, which was carried out within the framework of the Innovations in Higher Vocational Education (IVOV) project. Presenting a description of the structuring of more than four thousand educational events in terms of location, time allocation, and types of an educator is one of the objectives of the presentation. The second objective is to present the nature of the analyzed further education offered in relation to the Framework of Professional Competences for the Professional Practice of Social Work (according to BASW). Here, a categorization of the offer according to the thematic areas of the competence framework will be presented. Based on the defined gaps in the offer of further education, the author then offers a normative view of where further education in social work should be directed. |
