Description | In the talk, the nature of meaningful representations has been addressed, and especially the nature of musical meaning. The parallels between the latter and meaningful lexical semantic representations as well as the evidence suggesting common neural processing networks for music and language have been highlighted. Furthermore, the structural similarities between the two domains have been suggested to play crucial role in understanding meaningful units of both. |
