Description | Contribution deals with the topic of professional socialization of a novice primary teacher through co-teaching. Its main aim is to introduce the concept of co-teaching and its relevance to the induction of novice teachers. Subsequently we describe our research design. Case study method was chosen to focus on a particular novice teacher working in team with two experienced teachers. Qualitative data collection was conducted in an urban school in the Czech Republic using semi-structured interviews and observation. The conference presentation will mainly focus on introducing the research design, describing the process of the conducted data collection and illustrating the preliminary results. |
