Description This case study aims to describe the role of co-teaching in the professional socialisation of a primary school novice teacher. The study is based on co-teaching experience of a novice and two experienced teachers. Data collection was carried out via semi-structured interviews and structured weeklong participant observation during lesson planning, instructional process, and its subsequent evaluation. The results will broaden the understanding of co-teaching, carrying certain lessons also for the induction of novice teachers.
