| Description | The topic deals with analyzing the risks of using vaccines during pregnancy. Vaccines against the most frequently occurring communicable diseases in the Slovak Republic are analyzed. When deciding on the application of the vaccine, various factors must be considered, the trimester of pregnancy, the period before pregnancy, and the type of vaccine. Vaccination of pregnant women is most preferred in the period before conception or in the postpartum period. When deciding on the vaccine application, the degree of risk of infection with an infectious disease of the mother must always be considered. |
