| Description | The paper presents the psychosocial crises by which developmental psychology (primarily Erik Erikson's theory) characterizes the turning point between younger school age and the beginning of adolescence. By means of a literary interpretive analysis, the themes of these developmental crises and the specifics of their authorial processing in literature for children and young people are revealed, specifically in the prose of Jiří Stránský Pearl of Pearl and in the prose of the Safíroví ledňáčci and Glutaman Bogdan Trojak. |
