| Description | The measures aimed at minimizing the risk of spreading SARS-COV-2 disease affected the criminal law in its entirety, including the so-called enforcement procedure. For this reason, this paper will deal with the issue of limited possibilities of correction of a convicted persons during the ongoing SARS-COV-2 pandemic. This paper will describe the various pitfalls encountered by both convicted persons and employees of the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic or members of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic in the implementation of treatment programs and other programs that are intended to facilitate the resocialization and rehabilitation of prisoners and that are also aimed at preventing their recidivism after release from prison. First, the general starting points of the issue of treatment programs implemented in Czech prisons for prisoners will be presented. Subsequently, attention will be paid to the issue of specific restrictions in the implementation of various activities that are part of the relevant treatment programs, with an emphasis on the issue of employment of convicted persons during the so-called lockdown, education of convicted persons or im-plementation of leisure activities of convicted persons during the validity of various emergency measures. |
