Description | The workshop was focused on practical training of measures that build on the findings from the certified methodology How to Collaborate for Sustainable Landscape Development (certificate No. MZE-40559/2022-14131). Some stakeholders, for various reasons, do not find projects that support the ecological functions of agricultural landscapes beneficial. At the same time these stakeholders are often frustrated by the various administrative requirements imposed on them. Also, they frequently point to the insufficient recognition of their profession in society (the theme relatedness and good relations), a lack of autonomy in their work (dependence on subsidies, on-farm decision-making) and a lack of understanding of how to address the impacts of climate change on production (competence). One way to deal with this situation is not to pressure these individuals to adapt to the demands of nature and landscape conservation, but rather to focus on discussing their problems, wishes and plans, and to build on the findings using the principles of non-violent communication. |
